The Institute of General Practice Education Inc is committed to:
1. Delivery of the highest possible quality general practice training program.
2. Ensuring the provision of appropriate support for registrars, supervisors, teaching and administrative staff to maintain the highest possible level of training.
3. Maintenance of a strong dialogue with relevant individuals and organisations to ensure training program outcomes meet current and future education and training needs.
4. Ensure efficient and effective administrative and financial management to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of training.
5. Achieving continuous quality improvement in its general practice training
6. Foster an environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
7. Encourage, carry out, collaborate or assist in research into all facets of general practice and primary care (including general practice education) as it is able.
